The founder committed himself not just to the idea, but to the journey ahead, a journey filled with challenges but also immense possibilities.
After two years of meticulous planning and groundwork, May 2023 marked a major milestone as Legion Protocol established its headquarters in Chicago, Illinois. This decision was strategic; Chicago, with its unique blend of cultural richness, economic dynamism, and history of social activism, was the ideal base from which to launch our national and international initiatives. This phase was not just about setting up an office but about embedding ourselves in the fabric of Chicago, building relationships, and understanding the local context to drive meaningful change.
In the following months, the completion of brick and mortar businesses that funds the operation and endeavors of legion protocol in the US and overseas has reach its full potential. This period was characterized by a series of meetings and executions with professionals in the field of constructions, healthcare, and education business that furthers the financial capability of the organization.
Our vision took a global turn when we expanded to the Philippines in November 2023. This was not a mere geographical expansion; it was a strategic move to embrace a more global perspective and address issues transcending national boundaries. The registration as a non-profit in the Philippines was a complex process, involving understanding a new legal and cultural landscape, but it was a challenge we embraced wholeheartedly.
